Only Take What You Need

When you move to university, it can be tempting to pack your whole life up into boxes and take it with you. Unfortunately, most student rooms aren’t very generous with their space. During the process of getting ready to go to uni, you should create a list to help you narrow it down.

Your student hall room is likely to be small and even if you do prepare by packing light, you may still find you are struggling. Within your room, you should make use of all the space you have by hanging things on the backs of doors, utilising bookshelves, and also storing things on top of your wardrobe. Vacuum pack any unused items like clothing and bedding and store them under your bed. Make sure to keep not only your room tidy, but also your desk and drawers. Small spaces like uni rooms can get messy super quickly and tidying as you go is always a sure way to keep it in a great condition!

If you are still struggling for space or you can't bear to give up your items and leave them at home, this is where East London storage can help!
